Rio Tinto dropped 13% at the open. Medallion went silent - this isn't illusion. Found tracks in the news: "results disappoint" echoes through the financial forests. A Leshen - ancient, rooted deep in institutional sentiment. These earth-bound titans don't fade easily when earnings justify the carnage.
The beast clawed back 14% already, from 6197 to 7082. That's Leshen strength - wounded but not broken. Contract terms don't favor hunters here. When mining giants bleed on earnings, best to watch from the treeline.
The Catalyst Cockatrice - JMAT.LO
Johnson Matthey's 12.8% gap reeks of corporate transformation. News speaks of amended agreements, $1.8 billion catalyst sales to Honeywell. A Cockatrice - dangerous hybrid creature born from M&A winds.
Current price 1973, down from 2006 open. The poison's still spreading. These corporate metamorphosis gaps don't close clean - too much real substance behind the move. Medallion says stay clear.
The Phantom Foglet - PTP.DE
Hmm. Pentixapharm gapped down 8.7% with no news in the bestiary. Classic Foglet behavior - creates illusion of substance where none exists. These biotech phantoms love morning panic, then dissipate by noon.
Already bouncing 4.6% from the open low of 2.37 to 2.48. Foglets hate sunlight. Entry zone around current levels targeting the 38.2% fib at 2.82. Cast Quen at 2.30 - if it breaks below yesterday's low, the illusion might have teeth.
Sets silver traps between 2.45-2.50
Swedish Software Doppler - FPIP.ST
Formpipe gapped up 7.4% with zero news justification. Doppler territory - shapeshifting without cause. These Scandinavian software spirits love early morning masquerades.
Price already fading from 24.70 open to 24.40. Doppler's losing form. The 50% pullback zone at 24.30 looks ripe for Igni. Target the morning gap fill at 23.00. Stop beyond yesterday's high at 25.60.

Three more British spirits rose without earthly cause - MONY, ELM, and DSCV. All gaps 5-6% up, all newsless. Noonwraiths - they feed on morning optimism then vanish by lunch.
MONY already bleeding -2.5% from its 162 peak. ELM collapsed -5.3% from 176.40. DSCV fell -5.3% from 701. The wraiths are already fading. Easy prey, but the damage is done. Risk-reward's gone sour.
The Gaming Ghoul - FDEV.LO
Frontier Developments gapped 5.2% up on vapor. Another Noonwraith, this one haunting gaming stocks. Down -3.1% from the open already. These entertainment spirits burn fast in daylight.
Current 418 offers decent entry for gap fill to 410. But with 6.8% ATR, this one's got claws. Prefer to watch it bleed further before engaging.
The Pharmacy Phantom - APOTEA.ST
Swedish pharmacy chain up 4.7% with no catalyst. Foglet behavior, but holding stronger than expected at 61.35. Volume's decent at 40% of daily average. Sometimes Foglets have substance.
Gap fill to 58.36 still in play, but this one's showing fight. Watch for breakdown below 60 before casting signs.
The Mining Godling - CDM1.DE
Coeur Mining's 4.5% gap has news backing - "robust financial performance" in the bestiary. A Godling - smaller than the Rio Leshen but with legitimate power. These precious metal spirits command respect.
Price holding flat at the open of 21.16. When mining news is positive and the creature doesn't fade immediately, best to let it run. Godlings can bless patient hunters, but this gap's too small for the risk.

Most interesting contracts today are the fading Noonwraiths and that Pentixapharm Foglet. The mining beasts with real news deserve wide berths. When VSTOXX runs high and creatures start with substance, a Watcher picks battles carefully.

FPIP.ST - That Foglet's losing its grip. Opened with a 7.4% illusion, now fading to 4.8%. Down 89% exhaustion screams tired sellers. Current price 24.10, dancing right around that 50% fib at 24.30. Directional bias turned bullish. This shape-shifter's running out of mist. Time to draw steel.
MONY.LO - Posted actual earnings growth, but this Lubberkin's still fading. Gap opened 6.4%, now down to 4.5%. That's real news backing it, though - guides EBITDA in line. Exhaustion at 131% down side. Monster's justified but weakening. Dangerous hunt.
ELM.LO - Another Foglet losing form. 5.5% gap now down to 0.7%. Sitting near session lows at 168.40. No news justifying that morning surge. Pure vapor. But it's already bled most of its gap away - may not be enough meat left on these bones.

DSCV.LO - Stubborn Rotfiend. Gap opened 5.1%, faded to 0.7%. Heavy exhaustion signals but holding above key levels. Order flow shows buyers increasing last five days. Conflicted beast.
APOTEA.ST - Damn, this one's ugly. Only creature actually holding its gap - now up 6.4% and near session highs. No news I can find, but upside exhaustion at 76%. Buyers tired but still in control. Stay away.
Wind's howling out there - mixed market conditions make these hunts trickier. DAX down, SMI up. No clear directional edge from the broader tape.
Of these beasts, only FPIP shows clean fade potential. News-supported gaps like MONY are dangerous territory - even wounded, they can turn savage. The others have either already bled out or show too much fight left.
