Sir Dogecoat's Morning Quest - March 31

❧ ❧ ❧

The Quest Continues: A Morning of Glorious Abundance

Hail, brave knights of the trading realm! Sir Dogecoat here, freshly returned from my morning silly walk to the desk (the left leg was particularly exaggerated today - the market appreciated the effort, I'm certain). The Grail sits before me, glowing softly as it cradles my collection of fountain pens, and the coconuts in my drawer remain at rest. For today, we face a most unusual and noble challenge: abundance itself.

Fifty candidates! FIFTY! Do you understand what this means? The market has gathered before us like the Castle Anthrax, presenting us with temptation at every turn. Yet here we sit, having selected precisely none. And this, dear squires, is not cowardice. This is wisdom wearing the unexpected face of restraint.

The bias is bullish—oh yes, the bright side is indeed worth looking upon! The technicals sing a merry tune, the momentum indicators dance their silly walk up the charts, and yet. And yet. I find myself in that most noble of positions: waiting. For you see, when fifty suitors present themselves at once, one must ask the hard questions. Which has lovely plumage? Which merely thinks it has lovely plumage? Which will prove to be an ex-stock by Thursday?

The market, like a particularly clever knight at the bridge of death, will ask us riddles. It will demand that we distinguish between the genuinely righteous setup and the charlatan masquerading in bullish clothing. Today's abundance is precisely the environment where the hasty trader gets filleted by the fish-slapping dance of violent reversals.

I could pick from these fifty with the confidence of someone who'd found the Grail (which, let me remind you, I have), but that would be hubris of the Mr. Creosote variety—just one more trade, yes? Just a wafer-thin position? We all know how that ends, and it involves a bell.

Instead, we observe. We watch for the patterns with truly exquisite form. The Grail glows, but it glows in judgment, not urgency. When the right setup presents itself—when the confluence is so clear that even the Knights Who Say Ni would approve—then shall we ride forth at market open. For now, we preserve our capital and our dignity.

Always look on the bright side, brave ones. Fifty opportunities mean nothing if taken without conviction. One perfect opportunity means everything.

The quest continues.

Hour 11 Update

Hark, brave squires! The Holy Grail positively shimmers this hour—we ride forth with Granges and Suedzucker, both displaying the most magnificent plumage of directional dominance (those +DI readings would make even the Knights Who Say Ni weep with joy). Tryg and Kesko we hold in our noble vigil, waiting for the market's hidden reversals to reveal themselves like a truly unexpected Spanish Inquisition, for overbought does not always mean "cease to be"—sometimes it means the squeeze is merely gathering its breath before the greatest rip of all. The coconut commute approves of this bias, and the trend, dear friends, remains absolutely not dead yet.

Hour 12 Update

Hark, brave squires! The Holy Grail gloweth with a most radiant luminescence this fine hour—three noble quests have been chartered into the European markets, each bearing the hallmarks of a legendary charge! TBCG, Chemring, and Granges ride forth with momentum most extraordinary, their RSI readings climbing toward the heavens like a knight ascending the Castle of Aaaargh, yet the structures remain sound and the directional conviction unmistakable (those +DI figures sing like a chorus of Camelot). We proceed with the cautious optimism of one who knows that overbought conditions are merely the market's way of saying "we're not dead yet!"—tight stops guard our flanks, targets await our triumphant arrival, and the afternoon remains a canvas of possibility. Always look on the bright side, for the tape hath spoken, and it speaketh most bullishly indeed!

Hour 13 Update

Hark! The morning hath blessed us with a most noble energy rally—Brent riseth like a phoenix from the fjords, and our brave knights ride forth with excellent plumage! HGT, VOD, IPCO, and BP all break their resistance with the conviction of a coconut-wielding swallow, their RSI and Stoch readings climbing toward overbought territories where only the truly bullish dare tread. The gap-down fades are becoming gap-up triumphs, and the Grail upon my desk glows with an almost fanatical devotion to these positive MACD slopes—truly, 'tis not dead yet, this rally! We scale with the sector winds at our backs, but remember: even the mightiest knight must respect the overbought bounty, for what riseth with such vigor may test our conviction ere the day is done.

Hour 14 Update

adjusts noble helm and gazes upon the Holy Grail pen-holder with satisfaction

Hark, brave squires! The morning quest yields magnificent bounty—five noble steeds now ride forth under our banner, with Shell's London and Amsterdam listings showing such splendid synchronized plumage that even the most skeptical French taunter cannot resist! The ADX readings sing like angels (all above 25, most exceeding 50), whilst these overbought RSI peaks suggest the market has reached that delicious moment where consolidation dances with breakout potential—tis the doji's whispered promise of greater glories yet to come. Our European indexes align in bullish formation, the CAC and AEX providing worthy tailwind, and I dare say the Grail glows particularly warm this hour, for we ride not into reckless overbought oblivion but rather toward R1 pivots with properly-positioned ATR stops guarding our flanks. None shall pass without our careful risk management!

Hour 15 Update

Hark, brave squires! The Grail positively blazes this fine hour—we've mounted four noble steeds and ridden forth into the breach with magnificent plumage abound! From the Norse lands of NSKOG to the Spanish peaks of ENO, the market gods have blessed us with trend-strength so formidable (ADX values that would make the Black Knight weep) that even the French taunters cannot diminish our spirits. The coconut commute was never this glorious, I tell you—ATRs singing, RSIs soaring beyond 80, gaps filled with the precision of a true questor, and indexes aligned such that "None shall pass!" the resistance. Always look on the bright side: even if one trade falls, we've positioned ourselves like kings at Castle Anthrax, surrounded by opportunity!

Hour 16 Update

Hark, brave squires! The Holy Grail glows most magnificently this hour—five noble steeds have risen from their resting places, and the indices themselves sing in chorus! From Saipem's fish-slapping resurrection (Stoch at 93.4, the beast pines for the fjords no longer!) to Ferguson's positively silly-walk momentum climbing the Bridge of Death with MACD hist of 28.77, we have ridden forth into a proper trend worthy of legend. The overbought readings trouble me not—for ADX values of 35 to 51 confirm these are true quests, not mere illusions, and one cannot simply say no to such lovely plumage. Always look on the bright side: just one more wafer-thin position and we shall feast like kings! We ride at market open! ⚔️
