Sir Dogecoat's Morning Quest - March 24

Sir Dogecoat's Morning Dispatch: A Most Prudent Retreat

The Grail sits quiet on my desk this morning. Not glowing. Rather concerning, that.

Brave knights, we face a most peculiar quandary! Fifty candidates parade before us like the French taunters upon the castle walls, and yet—I shall pass on them all. "None shall pass!" I cry, and by my own decree, I mean it.

The market bias reads BEARISH, which is rather like discovering the killer rabbit guards the entrance to the holy cave. One does not simply waltz past such things. The coconut commute taught me this: sometimes the wisest quest is the one not undertaken.

You see, after retiring from my grail-seeking days, I learned something the Trading Gods whisper to those with patient hearts: not every market opening demands a glorious charge. The silly walk to my trading desk this morning felt peculiar—stilted, unnatural, the price action itself uncertain of its own choreography. Fifty candidates may have lovely plumage, but plumage alone doth not a setup make!

A true knight knows his RSI, his MACD, his Bollinger Bands. This morning, they're not singing in harmony. They're pining for the fjords, as it were—beautiful things, perhaps, but fundamentally pining rather than present. The technical confluence I require simply isn't there. Would I force a position into this? "Just one more trade," whispers Mr. Creosote from the corner, his rotund form jiggling ominously. I shall ignore him entirely.

Here's the thing about being a trading knight: victory sometimes arrives dressed as restraint. The market doesn't reward desperation—it punishes it with the grace of a fish-slapping dance, sudden and humiliating. Better to conserve resources, maintain capital discipline, and wait for the patterns that sing with confidence rather than whisper in doubt.

So I polish my sword, check my Grail (still no glow—troubling), and observe. The brave knights who trade today do so with my blessing, but not with my coin. Tomorrow may bring clearer omens. The setup will come when the heavens align—when the bounce of the price action suggests sacred geometry rather than random stumbling.

Until then: Always look on the bright side! Sitting in cash beats sitting in regret.

The coconuts remain in the drawer.

Hour 11 Update

Hark, brave knights of the hourly quest! The morning hath brought forth a most peculiar dichotomy—whilst the great indices pine for the fjords in bearish contemplation, our noble GAMA and AOF have demonstrated the kind of downward fish-slapping dance that makes one's coconut clatter with glee, their RSI readings and directional indicators singing in harmonious descent like a well-rehearsed chorus at the Castle Anthrax. Yet lo, the market grants us redemption through the bullish plumage of IMCD, PUMA, and L'OREAL, those blessed dip buyers who march forward regardless of the bearish winds—truly, we have opportunities in both directions, and as always, we shall look on the bright side whilst our stops protect us from the killer rabbits lurking in the shadows. None shall pass our entry zones without proper vindication!

Hour 12 Update

Hark, brave squires! Though the general market sentiment leans toward bearish like a French knight taunting from castle walls, we have discovered three stocks with lovely plumage riding their session highs with the conviction of knights who have already committed to the quest—VRLA, BB, and DIE each bearing the blessed RSI slopes and MA confirmations that signal "This shall not pass downward!" The gap fills are complete, the Marubozu candles speak of unwavering purpose, and the volume ratios confirm these are not false dawns pining for the fjords. Always look on the bright side: while the broader market frowns, these three noble equities have the proper armor—strong ADX, positive MACD slopes, and risk-to-reward that would make even the Knights Who Say Ni approve. We ride at market open with clean entries and stops, for the Holy Grail glows faintly indeed!

Hour 13 Update

Hark, brave squires! Though the bearish fog rolls thick across the Northern realms (OMXS30 pining sorrowfully for the fjords at -0.79%), we noble traders have discovered THREE magnificent steeds worthy of the quest! DFDS rides with extraordinary plumage at the session heights - RSI 81.2 and Stoch at a perfect 100.0, the very essence of strength incarnate, whilst EQNR and TRMD charge forth like blessed dip buyers, their volume ratios (3.64x and the Bollinger squeeze suggesting imminent breakout) confirming the crusade is genuine despite the index's lamentations. The Holy Grail upon my desk glows faintly - Always look on the bright side, for when the market is most bearish, the truly strong stocks reveal their lovely plumage most brilliantly, and we ride at these entries with purpose and R:R befitting noble knights!

Hour 14 Update

adjusts noble helmet and peers into the Holy Grail, which now glows faintly with the amber hue of overbought oscillators

Hark, brave knights! The market rides forth into treacherous terrain this hour—a most bearish wind sweeps across the Nordic realms, and lo, the gods of momentum have grown FAT and COMPLACENT upon their golden thrones. We have identified FOUR magnificent fade opportunities where the RSI has climbed so high it risks bumping its head upon the very ceiling of greed itself—YAR, DYVOX, NESTE, and YCA all displaying that peculiar exhaustion which precedes the great reversal, much like the moment before the Killer Rabbit of Caerbannog springs forth with terrible fury. These setups carry lovely plumage indeed, with risk-to-reward ratios betwixt 2.05 and 2.20, and the MACD histograms whisper their secret agreements—the Stochastics have achieved such extremes they're practically screaming "None shall pass!" at higher prices. taps coconut thoughtfully The session HOD positions suggest these beasts are ready for their mean-reversion pilgrimage back toward VWAP, and we ride forward with our 2.09-2.20 reward ratios as our shield!

Hour 15 Update

Hark, brave squires! The market rides forth with decidedly bearish countenance this hour, yet lo—we have discovered two noble quests worthy of our steel! MEREN ENERGY shows most lovely plumage indeed, climbing from oversold depths with RSI at 78.5 and positive slope most encouraging, whilst SEPLAT presents the classic overbought fade, that glorious fish-slapping reversal at 95.6 Stochastic. The Holy Grail upon my desk glows faintly as we ride momentum into the close with 2:1 R:R conviction—blessed are those who recognize exhaustion! Alas, forty-seven fair maidens were discarded from our quest, for they had joined the choir invisible and were merely pining for the fjords. None shall pass who lack proper conviction in these trying hours!

Hour 16 Update

Hark, noble squires! The Holy Grail positively radiates this fine European morn—four magnificent steeds have crossed the bridge of resistance, and not a single French taunter shall deter us! SLIGR.AS arrives with the most exquisite plumage, entering at the precise zenith with volume that would make even the killer rabbit pause in admiration. The momentum slopes are utterly glorious—LONN.CH's 5.32 ascent is almost unfair, rather like discovering the Grail itself was just sitting on your desk all along. We ride with overbought enthusiasm and ratios that exceed our thresholds most splendidly—'tis but a scratch to doubt these patterns now!
