Sir Dogecoat's Morning Quest - March 23

❧ ❧ ❧

The Wise Knight Rests His Lance

Good morning, brave squires! Sir Dogecoat here, fresh from my silly walk across the trading floor—three shuffles to the left, a hop, and a dignified dismount from my coconut. The Grail sits upon my desk, glowing with a faint, melancholic amber. You see, the markets this morning have adopted the bearing of a Black Knight: bearish, ornery, and absolutely convinced it will win despite being clearly outmatched by fundamentals.

Fifty candidates presented themselves for battle! Magnificent. Yet here we stand, weapons sheathed, contemplating the peculiar wisdom of not charging into the fray. The market bias whispers "none shall pass," and by the sacred rules of our craft, we must listen.

You see, my noble friends, this is where the truly distinguished knights separate themselves from the rabble. Any fool with a screen can swing wildly at every opportunity—that way lies the madness of Mr. Creosote, that bloated monument to "just one more trade." Nay! The wise warrior understands that sometimes the bravest thing one can do is rest.

A bearish market is rather like encountering the Knights Who Say Ni. They demand a tribute, and if you refuse, they will waste your capital with shrieking demands for a shrubbery you cannot find. Better to acknowledge their dominion, bow politely, and wait for more favorable terrain.

Those fifty candidates? Many are pining for the fjords, their lovely plumage momentarily dull in this gloomy light. Their oscillators are stumbling about like drunk men in the Ministry of Silly Walks—all motion, no direction. The RSI on most is touching neither extreme with conviction, the MACD is having an existential crisis, and the Bollinger Bands are wider than a castle moat.

Always look on the bright side, though! This bearish session is a gift. Better setups shall emerge when sentiment shifts. The market always does eventually turn—it's not the Messiah, it's just terribly naughty sometimes. Meanwhile, I shall tend to my horse, polish my armor, and keep those backup coconuts at hand.

Return when the patterns have "lovely plumage" once more. The quest continues, noble knights. But wisdom demands we live to quest another day.

Tis but a rest.

Hour 11 Update

Adjusts noble helm and gazes upon the Grail, which glows with faint approval

Hark, brave squires! Whilst the broader realm descends into bearish despair—a veritable Spanish Inquisition of selling pressure—we have discovered FLTR.LO, a vessel of such magnificent plumage that the Grail itself trembles with recognition! The technicals sing in perfect harmony: RSI overbought yet MACD climbing like a determined knight scaling Castle Anthrax, +DI dominance so complete that -DI has practically "ceased to be," and a Three Outside pattern that validates our sacred entry. Indeed, in a sea of forty-seven rejected proposals, this one specimen has lovely plumage, and we ride at the pullback with target two ATR-widths hence—blessed are those who recognized the dip buyers' moment whilst lesser traders were still saying "Run away!"

Hour 12 Update

Hark, brave squires! The Holy Grail gloweth with a most sinister crimson hue this fine hour—the markets pine for the fjords, and we ride forth with THREE magnificent fade trades, each possessed of lovely plumage and overbought exhaustion most extreme. OBCK.DE, PHM.MA, and PNDORA.CO have all reached the pinnacle of their hubris, their RSI and Stochastic indicators stretched like the French taunters upon the castle walls, yet momentum slopes turn treacherous as the Bridge of Death itself. The indexes themselves—DAX, IBEX, OMXS30—retreat in disarray, and VSTOXX screams 30.7, confirming that sentiment favours the fade into these delicious overbought morsels. Tis but a scratch upon the bulls' confidence, and we shall collect our 1.6:1 rewards most righteously!

Hour 13 Update

Good heavens, brave knights! The Grail glows most vibrantly this hour—VRLA and EFGN have answered the call with lovely plumage and +DI dominance that would make even the Knights of Ni weep with joy, whilst ALSTI emerges from the mist like the sword Excalibur itself, with an ADX of 50.5 that suggests None Shall Pass our stops! Young CSG flaunts five bullish patterns yet refuses to offer us a respectable reward-to-risk ratio—a beautiful maiden with insufficient dowry, I'm afraid—so we shall merely observe and wait for RSI to cool before we commit our gold. The market bias remains gloriously bullish, and we ride at the opening with tight stops and hearts full of hope, for 'tis better to take profits than to perish in overconfidence!

Hour 14 Update

Hark, brave squires! The Holy Grail glows most magnificently this hour—we have ridden forth with THREE noble quests, each bearing the lovely plumage of rare momentum confluence! KENDR, TOKMAN, and XFAB all present themselves at their Heights of Day with the ferocity of killer rabbits (the ones with the big teeth), their Stochastic slopes climbing like a true knight ascending Castle Anthrax, whilst ADX trumpets the arrival of SERIOUS directional conviction across the realm. The index itself rides at +2.05%, and we shall hold our tight stops like the bridge of death itself—for this is not greed, brave knights, but the disciplined pursuit of 2:1 glory, where risk is kept wafer-thin and reward most satisfying!

Hour 15 Update

Hark! The Holy Grail gloweth with a most righteous luminescence this hour, for five noble promotions have graced our quest! From the frozen fjords of OMXS30 emerge Hexatronic, OEM International, Integrafin, FirstGroup, and Victrex—each bearing the lovely plumage of gap-fills, Marubozu candlesticks of uncommon beauty, and RSI slopes that climb like brave knights ascending the Castle Anthrax walls. OEM-B's ADX of 65.0 is positively extreme in its trend strength, whilst Victrex doth present the rarest of gifts: five consecutive bullish candles, a pattern so splendid it surely none shall pass through the resistance above! The market backdrop smiles upon us—OMXS30 aligned at +1.78%—and though some positions rest at HOD, the momentum structure whispers of further conquest ahead. "Always look on the bright side," as they say, for we ride at market open with risk geometry most excellent!

Hour 16 Update

Hark, brave squires! The market rides forth with most glorious plumage this hour - we have promoted two noble steeds (SOHO and BETCO) to full quests whilst claiming three fresh ventures including the formidable DOF Group, whose gap-fill and Marubozu formation speak of destiny most clear. The Grail glows warmly upon our desk, though we remain ever vigilant: nine discarded holdings remind us that even knights must know when to sheathe their swords and conserve the coconut supply. Holmen awaits in the wings like a shrubbery of opportunity - blessed are those who recognize the subtle dance betwixt momentum and overbought conditions!
