With indexes showing a decidedly bullish bias and the VSTOXX behaving rather nicely at 19.5, we have conditions fit for a proper quest.
Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition, but everyone should have expected this delightful collection of momentum plays our scanning has delivered! Among these fifty noble candidates, several have caught my eye with their lovely plumage and refusal to join the choir invisible.
First, SIKA.CH presents a most gallant setup - this Swiss construction chemicals champion has executed a perfect gap-fill crusade, climbing from 158.35 to breach its opening range with the determination of knights storming a French castle. With RSI at 75.3 but ADX strengthening at 30.6, and the stock trading near yesterday's resistance turned support, this brave knight deserves our immediate attention. The momentum indicators show no signs of exhaustion, merely a pause before the next charge toward R2 at 162.47.
MPCC.OL, our Norwegian container ship crusader, has performed an even more spectacular gap-fill feat - opening down 5.15% only to recover with such vigor it's now trading 175% above its gap! Sometimes the market's fish-slapping dance delivers exactly what we need. This is no dead parrot pining for the fjords; this is momentum incarnate, with RSI at 85.4 and the stock riding high near session peaks.
