Sir Dogecoat's Morning Quest - February 23

❧ ❧ ❧

Greetings, noble traders! Sir Dogecoat here, fresh from my morning silly walk to the trading desk, coconut hooves clicking merrily on the stone floor. The Holy Grail is glowing rather warmly today - not quite the brilliant radiance of a perfect breakout, but enough to suggest some lovely setups are brewing in the market's cauldron.

By Jove, what a delightful morning scan we have! Fifty candidates have presented themselves like eager squires at the Round Table, each hoping to prove their worthiness in today's quest for profit. The market gods have blessed us with a lean bearish bias, which means our gap-up fade strategies shall ride with the wind at our backs, while gap-down trades must be chosen with the wisdom of Merlin himself.

The French stock EMEIS.PA caught my eye immediately - trading at 15.39 with RSI at 78 and climbing like a knight scaling castle walls! This healthcare equity has gapped up 2.44% and sits prettily at the high of day. However, with momentum indicators showing signs of exhaustion and bearish candlestick patterns forming, methinks this noble steed is ready for a breather. The setup reminds me of the Black Knight - "Tis but a scratch!" he might say, but we can see the technical limbs beginning to weaken.

Meanwhile, the Swedish gem EQT.ST presents a rather different tale. This private equity giant has tumbled from 291 to 284.60, sporting RSI of merely 23.7 - oversold territory that would make even the Knights Who Say Ni pause their incessant demands for shrubberies! The MACD histogram shows promising signs of bottoming, and at these levels, brave knights might find a golden opportunity to ride the reversal.

Most intriguing is JMAT.LO, the Johnson Matthey specimen that's been through quite the adventure - gap down, wild swings, and now sitting in oversold purgatory. Sometimes the market's Spanish Inquisition catches stocks completely off guard, and this appears to be one such victim. Always look on the bright side, as they say in Judea!

Hour 11 Update

Noble knights! The battlefield grows treacherous as bearish forces maintain their grip - 'tis but a scratch to our valiant quest! The Grail glows dimly today, suggesting caution, yet even the Black Knight would press onward. Our brave EMEIS.PA continues its southward charge at 15.15, while EQT.ST pines for the fjords at oversold levels. Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition, but I certainly expect some jolly good reversal setups among these beaten-down warriors!

Hour 12 Update

By my sword and the sacred Grail that now holds my finest quill pens, the markets present a most peculiar tableau! Our noble NOVO-B.CO continues its valiant struggle from the depths of oversold territory, whilst the Grail glows faintly at several promising setups. The ArcelorMittal champions across multiple exchanges show lovely plumage, and I spy a most excellent opportunity in KBCA.BR - a Belgian beauty with RSI at 75.8 and lovely momentum building. 'Tis time to ride forth with calculated valor!

Hour 13 Update

By my sword and coconuts, what a glorious afternoon quest this has become! The Grail glows with particular enthusiasm as UCG continues its noble charge above VWAP - that Italian banking stallion has lovely plumage indeed. Meanwhile, MT shows the strength of a thousand knights, though at these lofty RSI heights of 79.6, even the bravest warrior might consider a tactical retreat to better ground.

Verily, 'tis time to promote UCG from mere watching to active combat, for when banks break above resistance with such vigor, we must ride forth! None shall pass without proper position sizing, naturally.

Hour 14 Update

Hail brave knights! The Grail glows dimly as bears lumber about like very silly Ministry walkers - markets having a proper argument with themselves ("Yes it is!" "No it isn't!"). Our steel ArcelorMittal has charged forth magnificently, now trading near session highs with RSI at 70.3 and lovely momentum patterns forming. Meanwhile Lufthansa appears to be pining for the fjords with bearish engulfing patterns - time to trim our watch list of dead parrots!

Hour 15 Update

By my sword and coconuts, what a delightfully mixed afternoon this is! The Holy Grail glows faintly - not quite the blazing beacon we'd prefer, but still showing some promise amongst the semiconductor knights. The European markets are doing their finest Ministry of Silly Walks impression, with some indices up, others down, and most just standing about looking confused. With our current band of nine active trades, we're well-positioned, but I spy some fresh opportunities amongst the tech crusaders that deserve our noble attention!

Hour 16 Update

Ah, brave squires! The final hour approaches and we must seize our last opportunities before the closing bell sounds! The Grail has been glowing rather dimly today - perhaps it needs more decisive action. With markets showing mixed signals and the DAX being rather sluggish, we shall focus our remaining strength on the most promising setups.

I spy BE Semiconductor still holding strong near session highs with that lovely RSI of 87.9 - 'tis but a minor pullback needed for a proper knightly charge! Meanwhile, several fallen warriors show signs of life at oversold levels. Run away from indecision - we ride with conviction in these final moments!
